Review Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro XE700T1C A02 Convertible

Smart Business. Until now, the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro has been

Many input options...; ...and all of them work flawlessly; NFC, WiDi, and WWAN; Very bright high resolution display; Fast SSD with ample capacity

Materials are not top-notch; Port selection is limited; No RJ45 jack; Both CPU and GPU don't achieve maximum frequency; RAM operates in singe-channel mode; Battery life is only average

The eye-watering price.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro Review

Hybrid laptops seems to be the mantra for all laptop manufacturers these days. It's inevitable to not come out with one to counter competition. That's the reason why we're now witnessing a sudden flow of these convertible devices. Samsung's offering in...

We found something strange while using the review unit that was sent to us by Samsung. When using the tablet while it was docked to the keyboard, we could repeatedly hear notification sound of a USB device being unplugged and plugged. We found that it...

Samsung ATIV SmartPC Pro 700T (XE700T1C-A01US)

The Samsung ATIV SmartPC Pro 700T slate PC combines all the power and speed of an ultrabook with the easy portability of a tablet.

Tablet convenience meets laptop productivity. Includes S-Pen digital stylus and built-in storage. Intel Core i5-3317U and 128GB SSD provides ultrabook performance

HDMI requires adapter. No secondary battery in keyboard

The Samsung ATIV SmartPC Pro 700T traces its roots back to the Samsung Series 7 Slate (700T1A), one of the earliest slate PCs in the iPad-inspired wave of tablets with laptop components. This new version adopts the ATIV SmartPC name, and adds a docking...

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T (128GB, Windows 8)

If you're dying to have a Windows 8 tablet that's also a full-powered ultrabook-level PC, and you also want to have said tablet come with its own full-featured keyboard, there are other pastures beckoning beyond the Microsoft Surface Pro .

Samsung’s ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T hybrid is a fast, full-powered Core i5 tablet, has a 1080p screen, comes with its own keyboard base, and includes the pressure-sensitive S-Pen that’s very accurate and responsive.

Battery life isn’t great for a tablet; it lacks laptop-style features like Ethernet and a standard SD card slot; plus, it’s even more expensive than the Surface Pro.

The Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T walks the line between ultrabook-level laptop and tablet, but doesn’t truly excel at either.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro review: a capable Windows 8 tablet with S Pen support

More Info Samsung announces Series 5 and Series 7 Windows 8 tablets with S Pen apps, optional keyboards Samsung ATIV Smart PC review (AT&T

Strong performance ; Pen support with S Pen apps ; Comfortable keyboard ; Crisp 1080p display

Unsophisticated design ; Middling battery life

The Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro is a promising Windows 8 hybrid thanks to strong performance and a comfortable keyboard dock, but we wish it had better battery life.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T

The inclusion of an S-Pen and keyboard dock help make the Core i5-powered Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T a formidable multitasking tablet.

Powerful performance; Compelling Samsung apps; Sharp 1080p display; Fast boot time; Keyboard included; Dock for stylus

Relatively heavy; Inconsistent touchpad; Pricier than many Ultrabooks

Click to EnlargeThe Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T is a model of versatility. Thanks to its Intel Core i5 CPU, fast SSD and keyboard dock, the tablet can seamlessly switch between productivity and entertainment. The S-Pen is nicely integrated into the...

Samsung Series 7 Slate Review: Laptop Power in a Slim Package

The Samsung Series 7 Slate takes a different path from tht of other recent Windows 7 tablets, packing more-powerful components that include an Intel Core i5 processor and a 128GB solid-state drive. But the fancy ingredients aren't cheap: The Series 7...

Powerful 2G Intel Core i5 processor ; Roomy 128GB hard drive ; Great screen with dual Wacom pen and touch

Heat exhaust vent impedes use in portrait mode ; Fan runs almost all the time

Samsung has packed an entire Intel Core i5 laptop into a slim, light slate tablet. Too bad it had to pack a fan in there, too.

Samsung Series 7 Slate PC

All quiet on the Windows 7 tablet front? Well, no, but we haven't exactly seen many shots fired lately. Sure, HP recently refreshed the Slate 500 with the Slate 2, but for the most part, products like this have been eclipsed by excitement around...

Fast performance ; Smooth pen input ; Works well as a laptop replacement

Very short battery life ; Heavy and bulky for a tablet ; No full-sized SD slot

The Series 7 is fast and powerful enough to replace a travel laptop, but with a price this high and battery life this short, it's best suited for businesses with very specific needs.

Samsung Series 7 Slate 700T

With all the hype surrounding the new Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet, and favorites such as the iPad 2 and Asus Transformer, it's easy to forget that there are still new Windows tablets hitting stores. In fact, Windows tablets have been around for years,...

Samsung's Series 7 Slate is a powerful touch-screen Windows 7 PC, with a very Windows-8-like optional interface.

Onscreen typing is finicky and headache-inducing. The sold-separately dock and keyboard are practically required.

The Samsung Series 7 Slate 700T is the fastest Windows 7 tablet we've tested, and paired with its optional accessories, it provides a very laptop-like experience, but one marred by the typical awkward onscreen Windows typing experience.

Samsung Series 7 Slate PC review - Liliputing

It’s likely that more tablet computers have hit the streets in the past two years than in the previous decade. But tablets have been around for years — they just didn’t always look like the iPad
