Toshiba Satellite L630 laptop loves to travel. Along with offering a compact display, it weighs less than 2.2kg. So it’s easy to tote. Toshiba L630 laptop offers a suite of common sense features most others simply don't. That includes a TouchPad with...

Toshiba Satellite L630/00E

Includes both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium. Reasonably rugged. Decent battery life, but you'd expect that for the specs.

Keyboard is awful to type on. Status lights aren't visible due to positioning. SSD would increase ruggedness.

Toshiba's L630/00E is very much an entry-level laptop, with the spin of being kid-friendly. While the wipe-clean keyboard is horrible to use for adults, it may save some sanity if you decide to go down the path of buying a computer for your kids.

A well-designed thin-and-light laptop with great performance, for a very reasonable price

Toshiba Satellite L630-13M review

Toshiba's 13.3in screen Satellite L630-13M is a highly portable laptop that retains the same 1366x768 resolution as 15.6in-screen models. You do miss out on a numeric keypad and a little wrist space, however.

A truly portable laptop, the Toshiba Satellite L630-13M isn’t as attractive as the same-price HP but offers a DVD drive built-in, a lighter combined weight, better Windows performance and integrated graphics.

"Great laptop for university"

I bought this laptop on a whim (purely because of the keyboard before looking at specs). I find the keyboard easy to type on; much easier than my dell studio which I had before this. So far this laptop has worked better than I expected. The battery...

Suits me just fine. I like the softness of the keyboard cover and have no trouble typing on it. Nice compact size for travel etc and does everything I want it to do.

Toshiba Satellite L630-12U Refurbished

Size and weight. And it looks nice.

Awful speakers: quiet and tinny. I think that is a weakness with Toshiba laptops. Battery life actually isn't too bad: 3h35 on eco mode with light use before it shut down, though no where near that advertised (4h50). However, the battery meter can't be...
