Toshiba Satellite P755

Hype about thin-and-light laptops has reached a new peak this year. Ultrabooks are becoming more numerous, and Intel's processor update is right around the corner, promising products that are even faster and more power efficient.

Good build quality ; Full-size numpad ; Class-leading audio ; Minimal bloatware ; Excellent performance

So-so battery life ; Thick and heavy ; Twitchy touchpad

If you need a single PC to handle all of your needs, and you’ll be using it primarily at home, the Toshiba Satellite P755 is a good bet.

Earth to Toshiba: Come In, Toshiba

Though it wins points for great graphics performance, Toshiba's Satellite P755 laptop is, overall, too rickety to recommend.

Toshiba Satellite P755-113 review

Formidable graphics and 3D, but it's not without problems

Powerful GPU ; Hassle-free 3D ; Tasteful aesthetic ; Roomy keyboard ; Plenty of RAM

Poor battery life ; Underwhelming CPU chops ; Pricey ; No SSD ; Just 750 GB of storage

Lots of RAM, a solid GPU and 3D capabilities are attractive features let down by poor battery life and slow processing speeds on this £999 laptop

Toshiba Satellite P755 review

Our review Toshiba Satellite P755 comes with an Intel Core i5-2410M processor, a discrete Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card, and 6GB of RAM (upgradable to 16GB). It also has a 750GB hard drive that spins at 5400 rpm, as well as a Blu-ray Disc player...

The Toshiba Satellite P755 is an impressive all-purpose laptop, if you can get past the less-than-impressive design. The plastic exterior is nice for a cheaper, less specced-out machine, but it doesn't really convey "3D multimedia powerhouse." Still,...

Toshiba Satellite P755

I bought this computer from Costco after checking a lot of reviews and doing research. I don't use the computer for travelling, only for desktop use in a kitchen area on a flat Corian surface.

My favorite laptop yet!

My new Toshiba laptop is definitely one of the best laptops I've ever owned. The i7 core processor speed is extremely fast, especially when combined with the new Rockmelt browser. I love the wood grain feel & look, which leaves no fingerprints. The...
