Sharp Actius MM20

The Sharp Actius MM20 is probably one of the most misunderstood products in the marketplace today. If you read other reviews on this system you will hear a lot of complaints relating to the products size or its lack of performance. The MM20 is a...

Brilliant bright display; easy to sync with your desktop computer; good battery life

No built in scroll wheel; lots of dongles; not a very powerful system

Sharp Actius MM20

Ultralight day-tripper makes a fine companion notebook for your main machine.

The perfect backpack notebook, the Sharp Actius MM20 has what it takes to get basic work done. However, to get the most out of it, you'll need the long-life battery. For doing e-mail, word processing, and other basic tasks on the run, the Actius can't...

Sharp Actius MM20

At less then 2 pounds, (well, 1.99 to be exact) and barely half an inch thick, the Sharp Actius MM20 is a remarkably portable notebook. It's also the first we've seen to feature Transmeta's new Efficeon TM8600 processor. Add in a unique cradle...

2-pound notebook, unique docking cradle for charging and synching

Small keyboard, low performance

The Sharp MM20 is no powerhouse, but its portability and unique cradle sync feature make this a cool and innovative portable, as well as a great complement to your desktop.

Great Tiny Laptop

I installed Gentoo Linux using a the base station and another Linux box by partititioning and mounting the usb drive and chrooting. Be sure to back up the hard drive just in case you ever want to use Windows again. Alternatively, you could dual boot.

Very small an light-weight

There is no microphone input on the laptop

Perfect Travel Computer

I bought this machine several months ago as my traveling computer when on the road and I love it. The machine is relatively small (smaller than a sheet of paper), extremely thin and weighs only 2 pounds. Although it doesn't have blazing performance,...
