Sharp's UM32W notebook is superthin and superlight, but it lacks stereo speakers and has only an external CD-ROM drive.

Sharp Sharp PC-UM32W

The UM32W offers great ultraportable computing at a reasonable price--if you don't mind settling for a flimsy-feeling external 6X CD-ROM drive and a less-than-perfect keyboard.

"No regret in buying it"

It is a very fast and portable laptop. If you want a laptop that does not come with adware like aol, msn, isp providers... you will have no regret choosing this laptop. It only comes with windows xp

It's been discontinued, and the extra battery is too expensive (more than 1/3 of the value of the laptop)
