Good Enough

I would definitely recommend this laptop to someone else, but if they're in looking for some serious gaming, then this laptop might not be the best way to go.

This laptop is strong enough to handle about anything the average person would do with a laptop. You can play games with it, but you may experience lower frame rates if you play newer games on higher settings. It has a nice battery time and can even...

The laptop, at least for me, gets pretty loud after I use programs like Photoshop for a while. The touch pad is definitely not the best, and sometimes I struggle to use the laptop without a mouse, but it's still usable.

Great Laptop for back to school

If you are looking for a good stable machine for back to school at a reasonable price i would recommend this one.

I picked this up for my little sister before she goes off to school, set it up and cleaned out the minimal bloatware from dell and it runs like a charm. great back-lit keyboard as well

the touch pad could be a bit better but not bad enough to take an egg off it works fine.

Nice Laptop for College or Fun

Aesthetics: +Sleek design; brushed metal top, matte-black interior. +Runs quiet enough; can hear the fan when active cooling is enabled. +Keyboard looks and feels nice; keys responsive/aren't cramped, backlight color looks nice. +Large touchpad feels...

Nice laptop for the money. More than most people need unless you're encoding a lot of HD video or playing high end games. I mostly use this for productivity and a few older games.

Only negative for me is not getting an optical drive, most of my software and backups are on cd or dvd. Just know you're going to need digital copies of your software or an external drive.

Daughter's College Computer

Quality built and light for carrying in a backpack. Pretty fast and the components are all very good. I also got a deal on the price when I purchased

None yet

Really only practical with an SSD

Elegant design. Very little bloatware from the factory. Note that there's no CD/DVD drive, which may be a pro or a con depending on the user. Battery is embedded (e.g. you need a screwdriver to access it), which may be a pro or a con depending on the...

Boot to Windows desktop takes about 60 seconds, and this is after erasing bloatware, disabling unneeded services, and disabling unneeded startup programs. Response to mouse clicks can be sluggish, leading to a too-frequent situation where I'd make a...

Gaming??? For the Price??!!! - YES

I have one and this is the second one I am purchasing just to give to my relative. If your a LOL or SC2 gamer( which I'm sure theres many here) you will love this laptop. Look for it in the 300-400 price range as it goes on sale a lot.

-Amazing APU (For League of Legends, SC2, Dota 2, (Games people are actually spending a lot of time on) -Getting 50+ fps Ultra on all of said games.

Slow boot up, somewhat sluggish at opening programs, (1.9 GHZ a10 grr)
