Consumer review (newegg.com)

With some work it can be decent

This can be a decent tablet if you do the following things: 1) don't update it to ICS, if it comes that way then flash it back to 2.3.4 2)Download and install the STZ bulldog rom (just google it)- don't do the ROM for ICS, make sure you have the ROM...

Price, performance, rooted, can be charged via USB or regular charge port

Deceptive advertising the default CPU speed is 1GHZ not 1.2GHZ, ICS works buggy and slow, short battery, resolution is not very high

Can't keep it from girlfriend

I bought this as an e-reader in which it excels but my GF discovered angry birds and now she has commandeered it.

Easy to use, fits and feels good in my hand (when I get my hands around it that is). Screen is vivid and clear. Plays movies great

Wish the battery would last a little longer but it works fine plugged in

Great for price

I bought this for the kids so they could have all the experience of using a nice Android tablet without me fretting about loosing $500+ when it gets broken. Thankfully, even with the youngest user of 4 it has held up very well. They enjoy it and mom...

For ~$130 you simply will not find a better ICS 7" tablet. It's responsive, display is nice, it's easy to load Google Play or Amaz** Apps as no jail breaking is required. And it works. There is enough power and memory on board to accomplish most...

Don't buy for the camera. If you're interested in a decent camera you've come to the wrong place. The G-Sense capability isn't really strong. No bluetooth support. Battery is only good for about 4 hours working time

the best tablet under $170

There are alots of Non-branded 7" Android 4.0.3 tablets internet online order just like the Skypad Alpha-2 for the same prices and lower ( the Same Tablet with the same Color).

This is the best ( Android 2.3 ) 7" Android tablets in the American Market imported by American based Company . This is a Chinese Tablet made in Shenzhen China . unlike those plastic junks.. this tab can stand up against the best Android 2.3 tablets....

who care about ICS Android 4.0.beta !....Google has great Apps for their super Smartphones Right Now Android 2.3 we just haveto wait for google to support "REAL TABLET APPS" are you happy with The Snowcomb Apps? ...only the fools will try to flash this...

Seems like a bargain but it's not

Flashing to ICS Beta is easy but it is Beta (expect issues). I returned the device, will look for something else.

Price ; Upgradable to ICS 4.0 Beta

Very weak Wi-Fi antenna ; Low quality camera (in a bad location)

Not Bad

A full size USB port would be nice, but the mini can be adapted. Would be nice to have the Bluetooth adapter. Q to Skytex: Is there any way to flash this back to the 2.3 OS that was on it originally? I guess in time the 4.0Beta will get better, but I...

Fair speed for what it is, all functions working as stated. Upgrade available to 4.0Beta. The unit seems solid enough, the weight is good and the screens sensitivity is good. This works great for me and does all I had expected it to

As I said the upgrade to 4.0Beta is a pro... but I wish I hadn't. There are still too many bugs for them to get worked out of it. My recommendation is to NOT upgrade the os on this device, it ran better on 2.3. For some reason with 4.0Beta it lost the...
