Sony VAIO F-Series (VPCF215FX)

If you look at most of Sony's VAIO laptop lines, it's easy to be impressed with the company's design chops. For instance, who wouldn't like the S-series, with its very thin, elegant design?

Good audio, if you enable Dolby enhancements ; Beautiful display with excellent 3D support

Overall unit is quite unattractive ; Pioneer Blu-ray drive is very noisy

Sony includes Nvidia’s 3D Vision with its latest 16-inch laptop, but it's more attuned to stereoscopic movies than to games.

Sony VAIO F Series (VPCF215FX/BI)

So far, the implementation of true 3D for movie playback and gaming in laptops has been spotty at best. Leave it to entertainment behemoth Sony, though, to top all the competition in terms of 3D. With the Sony VAIO F Series, the company has introduced...

Excellent performance ; Very good 3D gaming and movie experience ; Blu-ray drive ; Lots of extra features

Hefty 3D glasses ; Short battery life ; Won't play some Blu-ray 3D discs

Speedy performance and engaging true-3D graphics make this VAIO a winning entertainment notebook. (Just be prepared to pay.)

Great laptop but screen quality could have been much better!

I got this laptop as a present for my birthday. It's a great laptop, very fast, reactive and solid. Though it hasn't got the best screen on the planet (and you can clearly notice this, when you playback normal 2D Blu-Ray/videos). The problem is that...

Sony Vaio F215 3d laptop

Awesome machine. Got here fast & has worked like a dream with one flaw. The pre-installed 3d video player "corel windvd". It worked great until I updated my computer. Now I get "unable to verify aacs error" & can't watch 3d movies anymore. I can buy...

great laptop, finally affordable!

I couldn't wait till black friday so I decided to order this laptop that I've been looking at for since it came out at the end of last winter. Amazon was home to the cheapest legitimate seller and I am happy about the purchase. The only improvements I...

a great computer -- one reservation

I have owned at least a dozen laptops. With one caveat, this is the best laptop I have owned. It is, quite simply, one of Sony's masterpieces.

So Good

1-The keyboard on the VAIO F Series is comfortable and spacious, with a dedicated number pad (but oddly, no dedicated volume buttons).
