Review Sony Vaio Fit SV-F14A1M2E/S Notebook

Versatile all-rounder. A thin 14-inch case is the base for Sony's latest multimedia device that wants to attract customers with highlights like a touchscreen display, NFC support and a hybrid hard drive. Does the Vaio Fit for 900 Euros (~$1215) offer...

Solid application and gaming performance ; Backlit keyboard ; NFC support ; WXGA++ resolution ; Very quiet and cool during idle ; Good maintainability

Poor WLAN performance ; TN panel with limited viewing angles ; Meager port variety ; Comparatively small battery ; No feedback from the keyboard

It is unfortunate that Sony only integrated a small 41 Wh battery. This does not support the orientation of the device to offer a mobile alternative to larger and bulkier multimedia notebooks
