Maybe:- the 'mouse'(?) buttons being located right on the front is a minor gripe you can sometimes catch then by accident and they click when you press them, but its a minor thing.

Well made, stylish and well specified. Excellent screen and sound.

USB ports poorly sited both the side and rear. Touch-pad buttons are easily touched accidentally. Too much unnecessary software bundled with vista. Have to make own recovery discs.

its fast and convenient which I Require as I am waiting a hip replacement and not very mobile.The deign is excellent

The only thing is its size which has surprised me but I did want a 17"!! so my fault

Quiet, fairly fast, competent, nice 17"screen, integrated camera & mic, large HDD, central mousepad.

Battery lasts less than 2 hours and takes about twice as long to charge up, Vista is annoying, Sony utilities hog the processing power (so uninstall them),

Stylish design. Bright screen with a good anti-reflective coating - very useable in all lighting conditions. Fast, high performance machine. Very quiet hard disk.

Windows Vista is dire. Memory card slots only support Sony formats. But that's it - easily one of the best laptops on the market - at a great price!

poor battery life and the clasp holding the computer shut is inadiquate ,leaving it loose and not very secure when closed
