Sony VAIO VGN-SR19VN notebook

When you think of fully-featured ultraportable notebooks, the first company that comes to mind is Sony. After all, it produces more small and portable machines than just about any other company. For all its lack of connections, the Sony VAIO VGN-SR19VN...

Powerful, lightweight design, good battery life

Pricey, awkward design

For all its lack of connections, the Sony VAIO VGN-SR19VN is an impressive business notebook. It takes the latest Centrino 2 technology and uses it to great effect. If you're looking for a stylish and powerful business tool, this makes more than just a...

Sony VAIO VGN-SR19VN review

A highly portable and stylish laptop delivering the latest Centrino 2 technology

Stylish design ; Powerful performance ; Stunning screen

Limited connectivity ; Average battery life ; Varied build quality

The SR19 is a great all-rounder, but in this case the Centrino 2 platform failed to offer a marked improvement over previous-generation models.

Discover why Sony's new ultraportable takes its place on the A List

We knew the SR19 would be challenging for a place on our A List the moment we set eyes on it. This laptop may have a price of around £800 exc VAT, but the quality of its design and the number of genuinely useful extras it packs in make it appear like...

The Sony VGN-SR19VN is a VIAO laptop form Sony that has a reputation of being ultraportable. It is equipped with an Intel 2 DUO core processor and a 4GB RAM. The Hard Drive is 200GB and it has a DVD Burner double layer optical drive. The VGN-SR19VN...

light, fast, good quality, looks sexy, much nicer to use than most other Windows laptops on the market

a few poor design choices, could've had better quick-option buttons, i would've preferred a scrolling volume wheel rather than having to press Function+F3/F4 buttons
