Sony VAIO VGNTT15GNR

A smooth and sexy ultraportable laptop.

Built-in DVD burner, light and easy to carry, screen produces vibrant colours and plenty of contrast, auto brightness is effective

Screen feels a little flimsy, keys feel soft and lack crisp bounce-back, the red lid can be distracting when viewing the screen outdoors

Sony has produced an ultraportable that is rich in features, elegant in design and has a striking paint job. It's easy to carry and easy to use once you get used to it.

Sony Vaio VGN-TT15GN

If you have the money, you shouldn't hesitate to buy the TT, in any of its guises. It looks phenomenal, is comfortable to use and is exceptionally portable.

Sleek styling ; Impressive battery life ; Excellent keyboard

High price ; Only two USB ports

Conclusion If you have the money, you shouldn't hesitate to buy the TT, no matter which version you choose. It looks phenomenal, is comfortable to use and is exceptionally portable. Netbooks offer similar functionality for a fraction of the price, but...

It's gorgeous, but it can't match Sony's own Z-Series for sheer ultraportable excellence.

Sony Vaio VGN-TT15GN

I was originally looking for a netbook. However upon realising that they were gutless, I looked at the Vaio TT. I was doubtful of the processor speed at first, and paid for the 4gb upgrade. It is the perfect notebook/netbook for the REAL world. Yes...

Its everything a netbook should be

No HDMI, high price, otherwise perfect

Why doesn't Aus get the SSD models?? They claim it would be too expensive...I say don't treat the public like fools-you set the prices in the first place.

Sony Vaio VGN-TT15GN

Do not buy this computer. I upgraded my Vaio TX to the TT but found the new TT (running vista business) unbelievably slow. After sending it back for a replacement the new computer was the same - extremely slow and not really usable. Won't run...

small, nice screen

very very slow.battery life about 4.5 hours (less than older models). Slightly heavier
