Sony VAIO VGN-Z21ZN/X notebook review

Sony's VAIO range has offered some of the most impressive ultraportable laptops over the past few years, from the tiny VAIO TZ and TT, to the larger and more powerful VAIO SZ. The 13.1-inch VAIO Z21ZN/X is the latest, and sits at the top of the VAIO...

All-day battery life, desktop-replacement performance, exotic materials

One of the most expensive laptops currently on sale

If you’re in the market for a high-end ultraportable, nothing else on the market can offer the Z-series’ blend of power, portability and features. It’s staggeringly expensive, but it’s also amazingly accomplished

Sony VAIO VGN-TZ21WN/B review

The VAIO VGN-TZ21WN/B (£1799 inc. VAT) is an expensive laptop aimed at the mobile user. It provides great mobility, a stunning screen and wireless broadband.

Good connectivity ; Sturdy design ; Attractive looks

Awkward trackad ; Exensive

Sony Vaio VGN-TZ21WN review

With 3G, Wi-Fi, good performance and extremely long battery life, plus being small and beautifully formed, the TZ21WN is Sony's best ultraportable yet, although it doesn't come cheap

3G and Wi-Fi ; Small size and weight ; Long battery life

Poor 3D performance ; Lacking in ports

Conclusion With a tiny footprint, lightweight construction and 3G connectivity along with Wi-Fi, the TZ21WN is a traveller's dream machine. It's got enough power to do sensible things on and will last an incredibly long time while it's at it. Provided...

Fantastic screen, light weight, easy to use keyboard even on the train! I chose this machine as I needed a super lite weight machine with more power than a net book that I could use on my regular commute. This machine ticks all the boxes and with HDMI...

Expensive, feels flimsy but isn't. Has Vista installed on it which makes it seem slow but comes with downgrade XP dvd. Not sure about the built in 3G modem seem to ave some problems finding the network

don't bother

Imagine my excitement when I handed over £1200 in the shop, anticipating that I would get £1200 worth of shiny new sex appeal computing power. When I took it out of the box I wasn't dissappointed the Vaio looks great. \nThen I turned it on and a swear...
