Review Sony Vaio VPC-EA1S1E/L Notebook

Lifestyle Statement. What exactly makes Sony's EA-Series more sty

Exclusive looking material; Good overall workmanship; High 1600 x 900 resolution; Good keyboard with firm response; eSATA & ExpressCard34

Low battery life; Sporadic exhaust fan under stress; Hardly any gaming performance; Low contrast; Glossy display; High-toned speakers

The same hardware with better battery life for 650 Euro: Acer Aspire 5741G-334G50Mn. More 3D-performance at the same price: Sony Vaio VPC-CW2S1E/L. Great battery life but with a CULV-CPU, weaker performance: Acer Aspire 4810T. Also very pretty but made...

Sony VAIO E Series (VPC-EA1S1E/P) - 14in Laptop

If you like bright, bold colours you'll like the Sony VAIO E Series. If not…well, you get the idea.

Good quality display ; Generous resolution ; Very good keyboard

Limited touchpad ; Disappointing sound range ; Poor horizontal viewing angles

Also included is Sony's Quick Web Access instant-on browser. It takes the web browser element from DeviceVM's Slashtop operating system, serving it up in around 25 seconds upon pressing the WEB button above the keyboard. It's the kind of useful...

Sony Vaio E Series (VPC-EA1S1E/L) review

Overall, the VPC-EA1S1E/L is a decent laptop, suited to many tasks but not brilliant at anything except standing out from the crowd with its vibrant colours. However it doesn't improve much on the previous model (the

Most satisfying buy ever

being a girl I always wanted a pink laptop...although the white laptop in the same series and configuration was £49 less than the pink one...I did not hesitate to puchase this one as it left me wtih a feeling for complete satisfaction.
