Review Sony Vaio VPCZ11X9E/B Notebook

Mighty Midget. A fast Core i5, gaming-suitable graphic card, DVD

Excellent display; Performance / case size; Keyboard; Applied materials; Integrated DVD drive

Fan's noise characteristics are a bit unpleasant; Loud under load; Underclocked GT330M (GT325M level); Very delicate display lid; Optimus not implemented

Actually only the Alienware M11x with stronger graphics, lower price, but without an internal DVD drive and with a weaker CULV CPU.

Sony VAIO VPCZ11Z9E/B review

Packing style, usability and high-performance into a sleek and sturdy sub-2kg chassis, the VAIO Z Series has frequently and vastly bettered such high-quality rival laptops as the Toshiba Portégé R600 and Apple MacBook Air

Intel Core i7 ower ; Shar and vibrant screen ; Long battery life ; Slim and light ; Docking station adds more value

Shallow keyboard ; Cramed touchad ; Plain design ; Flimsy lid

With its incredible combination of power and portability, this is the best ultra-portable laptop of recent times. It may lack the glamour of some of its rivals, but the Sony VAIO VPC-Z21V9E is worth its high pricetag.

Sony VAIO Z Series (VPC-Z11Z9E/B) - 13.1in Laptop

Sony throws the kitchen sink at this ultra-fast, ultra-portable laptop with power saving graphics switching.

In many ways the Sony VAIO Z Series is one-of-a-kind. As fast as many desktops, but no heavier than many netbooks, it's a testament to what can be achieved thanks to modern hardware and engineering. It's a niche product, of that there's no doubt, but...

Sony Vaio Z series (VPCZ11Z9E/B) review

Sony's Vaio Z-series VPCZ11Z9E/B sports top-notch components. But its battery life is on the short side and its price tag should come with a medical warning for those with heart conditions. If you can afford it, the VPCZ11Z9E/B will buy you blistering...

Sturdy build quality ; Incredible display ; Excellent performance

Short battery life ; Exorbitant cost ; No Blu-ray drive

Conclusion The Sony Vaio Z-series VPCZ11Z9E/B combines true portability with spectacular performance. If its cost and short battery life aren't important issues for you, we'd happily recommend buying this beautiful piece of hardware. If they are, you...

Sony VAIO VPCZ11Z9E/B review

Cramming a Core i7 processor into an ultraportable results in a staggeringly fast yet lightweight laptop.

That 13.1in display finally gets a Full HD, 1,920 x 1,080 native resolution, and it offers eye-popping brightness and glorious colours. The only drawback is that you’ll need to take full advantage of Windows 7’s text-scaling abilities to avoid...

Rather than try to eke out a little more battery life, or trim a little weight, Sony has taken a radical approach to its baby and rebuilt it from the ground up. Gone is the stamina-focussed ultraportable of old; in its place comes a thin and light...

these are insane specs from sony. It is a engineering wonder that they fitted all this into 13.3" box. Is it possible to ask reviewer to post his/her point of view regarding full HD screen. I was wondering if it was actually useful for someone who...
