Heavy, slow and glitchy

A magnesium or carbon fiber case would have helped with weight. I can't believe is was not working out of the box, need better quality control. Needs a better battery

Big screen and keyboard. Picture is good. It is still running after I did a new OS install

This was blue screening on me as soon as I booted it on for the first time. Had to format and do a fresh OS install the first day. It is pretty slow compared to the laptops I own with the same name. This thing is heavy. Should have a lighter case....

Enjoyable

Very nice laptop. It runs games pretty well. I can run Diablo II with no problems. It does what it needs to and has all the ports I need. Decent gaming and easy to use for daily email etc

There are some things that come up on start up that can be annoying, such as eco utility. It's a nice thought and is easy to just go into start up and tell it not to pop up, but if you don't know much about computers it could become annoying. That was...

Disregard review below this one

Disregard the bad review below. Just remember to update the bios i you get a issue related to mine and everything should be fine.

It was a cheap quad core and had up to 6Gbs of memory ; Fixed the issues it had with a bios update. I don't see how the bios could immediately effect the amount of ram installed. But It fixed the ram issue and the backlight issue

It had quite a few bugs when I received it. I was planning to RMA it but I decided to try to fix it myself

Disappointed in Toshiba...

If you buy one hopefully you don't get a defective one like me....

It's a quad core and was quite cheap.... Newegg got the laptop delivered a day ahead of schedule. Very good fast shipping on neweggs part

I'm getting Newegg to give me a replacement.... This laptop came with the battery dead, It's got 0% charge and it can't do anything. The screen also seems defective, when I close the lid and open it the back-light turns on and then disappears so I...

You will be hard pressed to find a better laptop in this price range it is actually a quad core with a radeon 6520g not a 6470m...plays fallout 3 on max settings with mods with no lag and skyrim on high

Quad core radeon 6520g

Concerned

Can anyone explain why this is running Minecraft at 25 FPS? This laptop is pooping on my old one, and yet my old one can run Minecraft at 30+ FPS. I'm confused at the moment.

Great price

USB port is very close to the VGA port ; Running minecraft at 25 FPS

oops, everything it good!

great laptop for the price, better than any you could get in a local retail store at this price!

It is what i ordered, i made a mistake in a previous rating, thought that it had the wrong graphics card. but as it turns out it has 2 graphics cards in it. a shared memory one, and a dedicated one

none so far

Sweet PC

Awesome Power for a laptop. Can play games, multitask, and is great for any user

Could use a little bit better battery life but it still gets around 4 hours

So far so good

Good bang for your buck would recommend and would purchase again should the need arise.

this has been a surprising little notebook for the money to be quite honest. Newegg has this stated as being a dual core cpu but this a6 is actually a quad core ; For the most part it's pretty fast and doesn't seem to have any serious heating...

It's my first notebook in some time but the progression of power management thus far with the video card is kinda wonky and takes some getting used to ; I can understand aesthetically why the trackpad is where it is but with your left hand resting on...
