Review Toshiba NB-100 Netbook

Netbook from Toshiba. The fight for netbook-market shares goes on

Quiet even under load; Option of Win XP or Ubuntu; Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR; UMTS/3G

Glossy display; Unsuitable for outdoor use; Loudspeakers are too quiet

Netbooks are defined as being small, light and mobile so that you can take them everywhere. Well, almost everywhere. What's the glare display doing here?

Toshiba NB100

In the face of an identical hardware platform, Toshiba's netbook fails to bring a unique point of difference.

Toshiba NB100 - HardwareZone.com

Toshiba's answer to the mini-notebook trend comes in the form of a typical 8.9-inch model that sports similar specs as its competitors.

Toshiba NB100-11R review

A tiny Toshiba netbook which doesn't cut corners on features

Stylish design ; Good value ; Sturdy build

Cramped touchpad

The small screen and slightly squashed layout won't appeal to everyone, but performance-wise, this netbook is a gem

Toshiba NB100-128 review

Great mobility and software, but too flawed to be an essential purchase

Great battery life ; Screen quality ; Good storage

Thick chassis ; Small screen

A good netbook for average office and internet use but there are better netbooks available

The NB100 is a little overpriced, but it is a solid little unit with Sleep-and-Charge USB ports, which are very convenient while travelling. It could use more RAM and a solid-state drive; a version with Linux installed would be pretty sweet, too.

Toshiba NB100-11R notebook - Pocket-lint

With over 20 machines available, it's fair to say the netbook party is in full swing, but it's still missing one or two of the big players. Toshiba is

Tiny, sturdy, well-designed interface

Noisy keyboard, slightly cramped

With its mini-me styling, comprehensive software suite and easy to use operating system, it’s impossible to dislike the NB100. Now some of its rivals are concentrating solely on larger, 10.2-inch Netbooks, it’s a refreshing change to see a return to...
