Toshiba Qosmio X875-Q7390

 

The Toshiba Qosmio X875-Q7390 features abundant storage capacity, a Blu-ray burner, and a superlative 3D display.

Decent performer. Superlative 3D display. Four USB 3.0 ports. 2TB of storage capacity.

Terrible battery life. Bloatware. Shorter warranty that the competition. Non-playable framerates in higher quality settings.

Solid Platform

 

Once I got all of those issues resolved, and a fresh copy of Windows 7 Professional installed on one of the hard drives, it has been a really good dual-booting linux machine.

Good video. Fast processor. Good amount of storage. Nice screen. Backlit full keyboard. Two 500gb hard drives

Several negatives ; Did a bios update and the either the cpu or gpu cooling fan stopped coming on and caused thermal shutdown. Rolled back to the original bios to fix that ; The two hard drives had different partition tables on them fresh from the box....

Don't buy.

 

Repair services are extremely slow and expensive. They cant even ship to a specified customer name and instead enforce that the credit card name is it. Took me 3 weeks to get a diagnosis saying they can't diagnose it without 800$ to replace the "video...

Worked for a while...

 

I Purchased this laptop in February 2013 and when I first got it I was in awe. It worked like a charm. Window's 8 had taken some practice to get used to but I got over it. Unfortunately I am unable to even play any games on it now as my GPU will over...

GTX 670M GPU ; 2tb of hard drive/hybrid space ; i7 cpu

Boots very fast

Windows 8 - your XP office and many other apps won't work (or work properly) any more, and you'll have to deal with an OS Start page that makes no sense on a laptop or desktop. You will see the OS crash or lock up many times, like in the bad old days...

Excellant Laptop

 

The labtop is very fast when it comes to transferring files to and from. Easy to use even with Window 8. Color of screen is terrific as well as the sound. Good value for the money; would recommend buying. Connects easily to WiFi in the area.
