Toshiba Qosmio F750 review

Toshiba's Qosmio range was the first to bring us glasses-free 3D, and we were so impressed with the X770 that we awarded it 4.5 stars. The Qosmio F750 continues the tradition, albeit with a couple of drawbacks.

Toshiba Qosmio F750-10Q review

The 15.6-inch Toshiba Qosmio F750-10Q is a bold-looking laptop with some powerful components. Its glasses-free 3D system is certainly interesting, but it's definitely not ready for the prime time just yet.

The Toshiba Qosmio F750-10Q certainly makes a bold visual statement with its blood-red shell and macho carbon fibre effects. But while the hardware under the hood offers a powerful punch, we're not convinced about the machine's 3D system just yet.

Whoever said you need clunky glasses for 3D? Toshiba's Qosmio F750 does it with a unique eye-tracking feature, but it's not perfect.

The Toshiba Qosmio F750 is the first laptop to get a glasses-free display. It's an impressive panel, with a Full-HD resolution that looks perfect and pin-sharp in regular 2D mode. It's not quite so good when viewed in 3D, but more on that later

Although the screen offers pin-sharp images when used in 2D mode, things aren't so impressive when using the laptop for 3D means. You'll find signs of ghosting when watching movies, and the resolution also drops
