Review Toshiba Satellite A660-151 Notebook

Entertainment Program. Toshiba's 16 incher scores with good sound, gaming starter GPU and good performance. However we found out that there's no perfect notebook for 730 euro. Workmanship, battery life and display show weaknesses.

Good sound with bass, Gaming starter, Good application performance, Quiet office mode, Low energy requirement, Feedback strong keyboard, Good sound, without a subwoofer

Poor contrasts, TFT not AR coated, Short battery life, Loud under load, A more solid case would have given the 16 incher a better overall impression

Toshiba Satellite A660/07R (PSAW3A-07R00R) 3D gaming notebook

Toshiba Satellite A660/07R (PSAW3A-07R00R) review: A 3D gaming notebook for early adopters

Good configuration, huge hard drive capacity, above-average graphics performance, Blu-ray writer

Poor battery life, 32-bit Windows 7 is installed by default, too much preinstalled software makes for annoying user experience, keyboard keys too smooth, screen too glossy

The Toshiba Satellite A660/07R (PSAW3A-07R00R) is a good notebook if you're looking for something that can deliver strong performance, and it's also something early adopters might want to check out because of its 3D gaming capabilities. But overall, it...

Toshiba Satellite A660-14C

Toshiba balances price and performance perfectly for this 16-inch, Blu-ray equipped multimedia laptop.

Excellent value ; Solid performance ; Fantastic speakers

Uses slower 10/100 Mb Fast Ethernet ; Disappointing DVD playback ; Lack of Bluetooth

Toshiba has hit a nice sweet-spot in the Satellite A660, offering solid performance and excellent multimedia features at a very attractive price. Toshiba could do better in the aesthetic design apartment, but the functional appearance is matched by...

Toshiba Satellite A660-15T review

At first glance, the Toshiba Satellite A660-15T looks like a one of Toshiba's typical business laptops. It's not shiny, pretty or finished with silver trim – it's…

The Toshiba Satellite A660-15T is not the most attention-grabbing of entertainment notebooks – until you switch it on for the white lightshow. A quad-core processor keeps it fast but don't expect to spend much time away from the mains.

Toshiba Satellite A660-17T review

A competent desktop replacement, but it's more expensive than similarly specified rivals.

Toshiba Satellite A660/07R

Toshiba's 3D-capable laptop works exceptionally well as a desktop replacement, especially for gamers.

In-built 3D works very well ; High performance ; Backlit keyboard with full number pad ; Includes Blu-ray playback

HDD parking sensor is overly sensitive ; Battery life is ridiculously low

The A660 is a high-end gamer's laptop, priced accordingly and with very few pretensions to mobile work, especially given its 2.62kg carrying weight and sub-par battery life. If you can live with those restrictions and want an all-in-one home...

Toshiba Satellite A660/07R (PSAW3A-07R00R) 3D gaming notebook

This notebook is good if you want plenty of CPU power and a good configuration, but you shouldn't go out of your way to check it out unless you're a diehard gamer keen to get on the 3D bandwagon. It has many annoyances (including the use of a 32-bit...
