Clock wrong, Support useless

Great for business if you don't need to be ontime for anything

Clock won't keep correct time and Toshiba wants me to pay for them to replace the defective hardware. This is after strining me along for months trying to find out how it was a problem with software I had installed which at that point was nothing...

Model has a hardware issue requiring repair

Too bad, the laptop otherwise isn't bad, especially at the price, but, had I known about this clock problem, I definitely would have bought a different laptop, and you probably should too.

Light for a laptop of this size, screen is higher resolution than most at this price

This model turns out to have a just discovered hardware issue requiring repair ; Do a Google search for [Satellite L775D clock running fast] to see the Toshiba forum posts about it. Basic problem is that the computer can't keep time properly when...

Not Bad At All

All in All, I'm VERY happy with this item. It's certainly quick enough for me once booted. I produce music, and this laptop has had no issues helping me do my job. No glitches, no pauses, no problems at all. The resolution is not 1080p, but it is...

Large Display, Stays Cool (Unless Gaming), HDMI Ready, Good Speakers

Somewhat Slow Hard Disk, No 1080p (which is mentioned in the product description), and the flat keyboars can get a bit uncomfortable at times

Don't waste your money

I would not recommend this model and Toshiba support does not have an answer. This is a lemon laptop. I was told by Toshiba support that not all laptops are having this problem, then why can't they give me a fix for this? It seems they want me to...

Cheap price, large screen

This laptop has a date/time problem. Windows 7 rating of only 5.6, which is low because of the slow access time for the drive. A faster drive would bring it up to 5.9 because of the graphics. The date/time advances when the unit is shut down or at...

The kind of laptop that you buy for your parents.

This is a desktop replacement laptop. It won't fit into most computer bags. The panel is big and bright with large pixels, which would make it good for people with poor eyesight (or people that just like their screen that way).

Windows 7 Experience Score of 5.9 ; The new integrated A-Series GPU is much better than the integrated Intel graphics at the same price point ; Nice full sized keyboard with numpad. No misplaced or awkward keys like on some HP laptops ; The software...

Slow hard disk ; No bluray drive ; No restore media ; The display panel is huge, but its native resolution is less than 1080p. Most people won't notice ; A large computer like this should have more ports
