Nice little notebook

 

Load Windows XP Pro SP2 - add a 2GB memory module - tweak the energy settings for low power consumption and you'll have a nice quiet, cool running little laptop. Be sure and load the Toshiba utilities - they are pretty slick.

Good value - good functionality - keyboard feels great - touchpad is crisp - lots of little feature buttons available to the user - very quiet - runs cool enough - superior screen quality - intel chipset hibernates well - superior battery life

Very Nice!

 

Overall this is an excellent and powerful computer. Too many people writing reviews say that the computer is too slow, when they simply forget to delete the pre-installed software. I wish toshiba wouldn't have looked over the small things like the USB...

Portable ; Powerful ; Reliable (toshiba is an excellent brand) ; Nice Keyboard ; Decent battery life (roughly 2.5 hours)

Sound isn't great ; usb placement (2 on the front right: who wants usb cables sticking out where you place your mouse?) ; no expansion port for docking station
