Given its sub-£500 (ex. VAT) price, the Satellite Pro A10 is pretty impressive. Choose it if you need a budget notebook for everyday tasks -- but be aware of its limitations.

Add a USB MIDI keyboard and a good PCMCIA sound card and it's perfect for a portable MIDI Studio. I use Reason 3 and Cubase SX 3, and I cannot fault its performance.
