Review Toshiba Satellite C855-2J4 Notebook

Update in gray. The Toshiba Satellite C855-2J4 is a 15.6-inch entry-level notebook. Equipped with an Intel Core i5-3230M processor and AMD Radeon HD 7610M GPU, the notebook is one of the more powerful models in Toshiba's entry-level series.

Number pad, Pleasant touchpad surface, Display with ample contrast, CPU clock speed remains at maximum during the stress test, 1 TB HDD and 8 GB RAM, The high contrast ratio is a definite plus

Many glossy surfaces, Single USB 3.0 port, No Gigabit LAN, Glossy display, Fairly short battery life, ...but we would have preferred a non-glare display panel

Review Toshiba Satellite L855-15U Notebook

Cool design. The L855 leaves a nice impression with its steel-blue brushed aluminum chassis, remaining pleasantly cool to the touch. Our test will show whether it works as smoothly as its appearance suggests.

Beautiful brushed aluminium finish, Special keys well-arranged, Palm rest feels great, The brushed aluminum case with its subtle blue cast. The silent and cool operation mode. Toshiba's software

Lid easily deformable, Tiny arrow keys, Small return key, Ports too closely arranged, Improved build quality for the lid. More space between the different ports

Review Update Toshiba Satellite Z930-119 Ultrabook

Ultrabook tuning. The Toshiba Satellite Z930 is the second-generation of Toshiba's ultrabook line, replacing the Satellite Z830. While the case is largely the same, the newer Satellite receives an updated Ivy Bridge processor. Does this new ultrabook...

Toshiba Satellite X205

Toshiba's Satellite X205 offers dual-GPU SLI graphics starting at less than $2,000, making it a solid choice for mobile gamers on a budget.

SLI graphics at a relatively low price; good gaming performance; HDMI output

Pitiful battery life; too much Toshiba branding; mini spacebar; fixed configuration means no GPU options; lower screen resolution than some other 17-inch laptops

Toshiba Satellite C655-S5542

How little can you get away with spending on a midsize 15-inch laptop? According to Toshiba, it's $399, the price of the 15.6-inch Satellite C655-S5542.

The Toshiba Satellite C655 is about as inexpensive as a 15-inch laptop can get while having all the basics, but it's still faster than some AMD laptops.

The bottom-of-the-barrel Celeron processor offers nearly Netbook-level performance, and the plastic body makes this feel like a throwaway laptop. It also lacks an HDMI port.

If you're still considering an Intel Celeron processor for a midsize laptop in 2012, the Toshiba Satellite C655-S5542 at least turns on and lets you surf the Web, if slowly.

Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7022 Review

Desktop replacement notebooks may pull together the computing experience with more of a nod to portability than the average PC tower, but there's also a price sacrifice to be made if you want the same crunching abilities. Into this hotly contested...

The Satellite L675D-S7022 makes a very good argument for the case that there’s such a thing as too much cost-cutting. We can forgive the notebook its moderate performance and disappointing battery life, but Toshiba’s choice of sub-1080p display on a...
