Toshiba Satellite U945-S4390

The Toshiba Satellite U945-S4390 is a reasonably priced Windows 8-equipped ultrabook with some nifty features to boot.

Reasonably priced. Good performance. WiDi.

Bloatware. Uncomfortable to type on. So-so battery life.

The Toshiba Satellite U945: Budget Windows 8 ultrabook gets even more budgety

Trimming down and shedding metal for plastic, the U945's a modest redesign of the existing Satellite U845; but if it makes for a more affordable laptop, then it's a good move.
