Review: Voodoo Envy 133

Ultralight notebooks come dressed to impress, but most disappoint when it's time to roll up the sleeves and get to work. Not the Voodoo Envy...

Voodoo Envy 133

The Envy 133, Voodoo's answer to the Apple MacBook Air, will bring envy to many.

Fits in a manila envelope. Sight to behold. Carbon fiber chassis. Standard voltage processor. Cutting-edge connectivity ports. Very light. Big screen. Ambient light sensors. Very good speakers.

Too expensive. Battery is too small. Processor causes some unnecessary noise and warmth. Wireless on/off key is awkwardly placed. ; Watch the Voodoo Envy 133 Video Review!

The carbon fiber, along with a rather noisy fan, lets heat dissipate easily, so there's no sudden burning sensation on your legs when you're using it on your lap. I don't know if carbon fiber is a better sound resonator than aluminum, but the Envy's...
