For penny-pinchers looking for a notebook that'll get them by, the WinBook V220 is an option, albeit a rather plain one.

Inexpensive. Good wireless performance. Nice screen.

Only two USB ports. Bulky.

The WinBook V220 is a big, budget laptop with a slick design, if not the fastest processor.

The $1099 WinBook V220 would make a handsome, capable home laptop for a budget watcher.
