Not All that is Promised

If it wasn't a gift, I would return it and go get a slim hp computer.

The big screen is nice, even though i can not see it without glare from anything in my house. the keyboard does have a number pad on the side which can be useful

I Love It

I bought this computer for the sole purpose that is could run mathematica. It runs it amazingly.

The computer is fast to awaken, it doesn't overheat and is easy to use. The battery life is good for a computer this size. The sound is awesome. The graphics card runs 3-D modeling easily

You can not expand the ram. It has an internal battery that you can not access easily. Sometimes that HDMI messes up but honestly I have a feeling that is Windows 8.1 not the computer

The computer is specifically "designed for" Windows 8 which is the worst operating system ever been designed by Microsoft. You have to delete/wipe off the partition in order to install Windows 7. Once you install it you will have so many compatibility...
