The lens cap is fundamental to this lens as you can not use a filter to protect the front element. Unfortunately Panasonic do not sell this lens cap as a spare part so it can not be replaced if lost

A well-built lens. I found it useful when photographing city buildings at close range and also mountain scenery where it captured the grand sweeping expanse very effectively

Superb for creating interesting landscape and architecture photographs. Light to carry around, not very good if using flash as it creates a shadow. But an essential lens for me without doubt
