Vivitar 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Autofocus Zoom Lens for Canon EOS Autofocus Film...

This lens is nothing special. But for the price, I love it. It's simple, and it does not have a lot of features, but it is everything it advertises. I bring this lens to any situation where I fear that my nice glass may get dinged or smeared....

Vivitar 52mm Close Up + 10 Filter

I paid $10 for this filter so I wasn't expecting much. I got it because I wanted to try digitizing negatives on a light table. For that purpose it works, though not nearly as well as a nice film scanner (which costs hundreds more). It requires some...

Vivitar Series 1 - Telephoto lens 85 mm - f/1.4 - Nikon F

This really is a nice lens! Strong and heavy. Like good glass is ment to be. But after some research I found that nikon sells a fixed 85 at almost the same price with AF. So I returned it. I did like it thought. No complaints.

Vivitar MC-UV-52

This glass is obviously coated. I can see the coating when I look at reflections in the glass. Optimally, when you buy a filter you don't want to be able to see any reflections. I also own a Sigma DG 52mm Multi-Coated UV Filter. When comparing these...

Vivitar 100mm Macro

This lens is very difficult to review. There is a very big difference between the optics and buildings. Of course its a cheap lens, but as a "real macro-freak" normally I am used to better lenses. I have 6 top-macros from Sigma, Tamron and Canon and...

Vivitar 19-35mm Series One Zoom Lens For Minolta SLR Cameras

Typically, as far as the quality of glass goes, lens produced 20 years ago had much higher standards then they do now, mostly because with so many cameras shooting with crop sensors, only the quality of the very center of the lens matters. This lens...

Wide Angle & Telephoto lens for SANYO Xacti VPC-HD1000 VPC-HD2000 VPC-HD1010

These are good adapters to use on video cameras. Easy to put on and came with extra rings so that they could fit on a variety of video camera lenses.

Vivitar Series 1 3-Piece Multi-Coated HD Pro Filter Set (40.5mm UV/CPL/ND8)

it fits on my camera, but it makes the tube effect and when i put the camera on telephoto mode it kills the quality of my pictures.

Vivitar Close Up

The thickness of the filter lenses do not allow them to be stacked to increase the magnification. Some said you can, but that's not true. Definitely creates a very narrow depth of field. But overall they have been pretty handy, considering the price...

Vivitar Filter Kit 58mm 3 st. UV/CPL/ND8

Sucks to put a piece of cheap plastic over an expensive lens. Turns out my camera will already do everything these lenses are supposed to make a camera do. If you have a nice dslr camera (I have a cannon t3i) dont bother, learn to work the shutter and...

Vivitar Filter Kit 52mm 3 st. UV/CPL/ND8

Great value for the money. The optical quality seems perfectly adequate & the case protects the 3 filters plus space for a fourth although I would recommend wrapping each filter in a microfiber lens cloth for added protection against scratching.

Vivitar 28 - 210 / 3,5 - 5,6

I have used this lens on a Canon EOS film camera before using it on a 20D Canon system. It is a weighty lens but with a battery grip it turns out to be well balanced. The push/pull zoom is useful, easy and fast while minimal care has to be exercised...

Vivitar Variable NDX Filter (ND2 to ND10...FREE SHIP

Variable ND's can get pricey quick ($200-$400). This one for ~$40 is a steal. Yes it works. But after a few stops of ND, it becomes unusable as the darkening is very obviously uneven. Good for the price. You're effectively paying $40 for up to I'd say...
