Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 11-22mm f/2.8-3.5 Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens

Very compact and unobtrusive lens. It has dust and splash water seals than make it very rugged piece of equipment for outdoor photography. Images are sharp and colors are great. A little pricey but worth every penny.

Lensbaby 2.0

Sure, it's a gadget lens but it's surprising how often it's just the right approach. Even with the macro kit, which we highly recommend, it isn't expensive. Unless you count the second camera body you'll inevitably want to acquire to keep it handy!

Nikon 105Mm F2.8D Af Micro Nikkor Lens

I have had this lens for several years and through several cameras. I've used it on an N70, N80, FM2, and my new D200 digital. I've shot black and white, color negative, color positive (slides) and digital. It's a solid, sturdy lens--through all the...

Konica Minolta 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 Auto Focus Zoom

One Lucky Buy! I bought this on an eBay "BIN" or "Make Offer". I made an offer some 20% below asking price and- Surprise!- Won It! ($110) I usually shoot a Sony a700, with Sony's 18-200mm 3.5 as my everyday favorite. I thought this lens was the perfect...

Olympus MCON 35 Converter

I researched achromatic diopters extensively before buying the MCON-35, so I knew it was highly regarded - but the relatively few (mostly Camedia users) who knew it. The diopters, over my Nikon and Pentax lenses, is as good as my Canon 500D. It is...

Leica 75mm Summilux-M f/1.4

After all I have read about this legendary lens, I could not resist buying one. It is quite expensive; but 1,000 Euro including manufacture service checkup was a good deal. In fact I use an M2 with 35 / 50 / 90 for more than 10 years. I also have a M6...

Leica Elmarit-M 24mm f/2.8 ASPH

This lens is one of Leica's most remarkable optical "greats" and was well lauded by Erwin Puts as being one of the most outstanding 24mm lenses ever built and certainly one of the finest performers in the Leica-M stable. As a user I have to agree with...

Sigma 4,0 - 5,6 70 - 300MM AF /DG/DL/Macro/Super II

Just began taking pictures with my Minolta Maxxum 5, which came with a lens up to 90mm. That was great but I wanted more. Since I like taking nature pictures, and portraits, I needed a macro lens. This one fit the bill. I highly recommend it to...

Leica Camera 100 / 2,8

Probably the best lens I've ever used in his category, not only for macro (with and without elpro) but also for portraits. A benchmark for apocromatic lenses. Really detailed from border to border from f2.8. Typical leica colors. Astonishing leica...

Nikon NIKKOR Ultra-Wide Zoom AF-S G ED Lens

Nikon has created a perfect lens to match the D3. It does not feel heavy when mounted and has a great balance with the camera. It is tack sharp and doesn't exhibit noticeable fish eye distortion. The inability to mount a filter is not a problem. Lens...

Nikon AF-P DX Nikkor 70-300mm F4.5-6.3G

Handheld at 300mm this lens resolves very small print at 30 metres which my Nikon 200-500mm zoom at 500mm, handheld or rested, would not resolve! [I also tried the 200-500 at 300mm, but with the same result]. I tried this many times in different lights...

Zeiss 135mm f/2.0 Apo-Sonnar T ZE Lens, Nikon Mount

Those are big claims to substantiate, but Zeiss is not company that I associate with unfounded marketing claims.Adding credence to these claims is the price tag of this lens – more than double the price of any competing 50-something mm lens.To be...

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500 mm 1:4E FL ED VR

I wanted a 500mm prime lens for bird photography as my 80-400mm does not get close enough for top quality detail in many situations. This 500mm FL is fairly light to carry, weighing not much more than the 300mm 2.8. It gives me the desired reach with a...

I have the Sony A7r and have found the canon glass and metabones adapter to be to unreliable. The camera is much happier with this lens. IQ and build quality are truly superb. It's a lot of money but completes a high spec camera system.
