i have used this lens on nikon D90, its fast, its sharp and produces beautiful images. the macro is at 1:3.5, but other than that the lens is excellent, definitely would recommend it to anyone

M. Nelson is wrong. this lens give a very good stereo results. if you have a digital camera you can see the pics from the screen of your computer with the included viewer, no need to print them. Aly Rachid

Though there was some improvement with colors on some photos, it wasn't anything significant.Also some metal band inside of the filter broke while I was screwing it on my lense, so it wouldn't stay on anymore. Well, I'm pretty much disappointed.

The Quantaray 18mm -50mm kit lens is a good lens for a first time dslr user. I would not recommend this lens for a serious photographer due to its slow autofocus. The construction of the lens is good for a kit lens.
