Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS APO HSM

A 70-200 mm lens with f/2.8 aperture is a standard journalistic device. Small wonder every prestigious optics producer wants to have such a lens in its line-up. What's more, journalists are very demanding customers so the manufacturers strive to put...

Canon EF 24-70/2.8 L

keep this on my 24-70 at all times as it protects from knocks and scratches as well as increasing contrast and preventing flare...expensive but essential in my view

Lensbabies LB-2AFM

All the fun of a Muse at half the cost. No interchangeable lenses, but I'm not a fan of the lower quality optics, so that wasn't a deal breaker to me. Lensbabies are fun and intuitive to use. It's definitely a specialty lens, but it's so small and...

Kenko 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 DG Teleconverter for Canon EOS

Before purchasing the Kenko 1.4x I consulted all of the reviews, plus several photography oriented reviews. As they all indicate, the Kenko fits more lenses than the Canon 1.4x. While I believe that the newest Canon is probably optically...

Sony FE 70-200 F4 G OSS

The Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS ($1,499.99) is a telephoto zoom lens for Sony's full-frame mirrorless camera system. A 70-200mm zoom is the go-to lens of many an event shooter, and this is a great one in terms of sharpness, but it does show some...

Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM

This is the lens I requested from Canon.I would like to think that Canon designed this lens at my request (sometimes being delusional makes one happy).More arguable of course is that there was a demand for an image stabilized full frame-compatible...

AF Confirm Olympus OM Lens to Canon EOS EF Mount Adapter 600D 60D 1100D DC132

Very good for the money - AF confirm works well with Canon 600D and 1000D. You have to use Manual mode only (not Av) I've found but that's not a problem. Definitely worth spending an extra £2 to get an adapter with the chip. Recommended purchase.

Just used extensively on a three week tour around England visiting stately homes in the National Trust. Absolutely essential for interior work where the 16mm is just not quite wide enough. Wouldn't travel without it, since it is so small and light. A...

KitVision KVIP4LPK camera lense

Really pleased with this product. The fish eye lens has quite a large amount of black round the frame but I use edit software anyway so I crop it. Got some really good pics in the Lake District. Railway lines through a fisheye are always arty farty....

Nikon Nikkor AF-S 16-35 mm f/4G ED VR

The first specimen of the Nikkor AF-S 16–35 mm f/4G ED VR fell into my hands soon after its launch, already in 2010. Although I gathered all testing material I couldn't analyze it properly because there was always something more pressing to do. In the...

Tokina 28 - 105 / 3,5 - 4,8

Using this for my Minolta x-700 , I'm starting to like using this better than the prime lens as it gives me more options. It came shipped with a regular UV filter which I have changed to a polarized filter..

Sigma EX 2,8/14mm ASP HSM RF

Bought this lens brand new when it first came out, using it on a Nikon F5, then the original D1. Hadn't used it much in several years, but pulled it out recently upon finally getting a FF sensor camera (D4)--still works like a champ, and built like a...

SIGMA 80-400mm F4,5-5,6 DG EX OS

This mouthful of a lens is Sigma's offering in the popular long telephoto range that incorporates a system for overcoming camera shake, this one being called OS (Optical Stabilisation) We take a look at how it performs against some venerable opposition.

Nikon 50mm f/1.2 Nikkor AI-S

The lens is very fast. If you want a shallow depth of field this is the best lens you can find. I read a mixed bag of reviews here and the people seem to either love it or hate it. The ones that hate it all complain that it is soft - clearly they don't...

Tokina 11-20 mm / F 2,8 AT-X PRO DX

This is for Canon bodies. Wasn't too clear when I purchased it. Seems to be French stock judging by the booklet it came with. Not too important as instructions not really required for a lens. I've had limited time with it but seems a cracking lens. The...

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 300mm F4 IS Pro

Tamron 45 mm / F 1.8 SP DI VC USD

Tamron SP 45mm F1.8 Di VC USD

If you've always wanted your 50mm prime lens to be just a little bit wider, Tamron has you covered. Its SP 45mm f/1.8 Di VC USD ($599) has a focal length that almost matches the true normal diagonal of a full-frame camera sensor (43mm). It's quite...
