Polaroid MC UV 52MM

I'm not sure what to say about this item. It is what it is and it is what it says it is.

Polaroid PL-3FIL72

excellent value, good quality, very underrated brand half the big name brands and does the same job. I am very happy with the filter set.

Walimex 14/2,8

This camera lens is Limited in scope and lacking in versatility difficult to find the 'sweet spot' for manual focus.

Polaroid PL-3FIL55

UV + Polarizing filter remain on lense most of time so as to get best results. Have not needed Fluorescent filter. Works fine but have to be careful if used with close up kit as sometimes thread not holding.

Polaroid CPL 62mm

Appears to be nice quality. Time will tell. It is a little large for my current applications but should come in handy.

Cokin P

Good choice for smoothing out harsh lines and softening up the image. Works well with auto focus lenses. The Cokin Diffusers are a great addition to a creative filter collection.

Canon EF-S zoom lens

I use a 60D most of the time, but needed an extra camera while doing a wedding video, so I got a T2i with the 18-55 kit lens. This lens has a good overall zoom range, and it's good for somebody who only wants one lens, and doesn't want to spend much...

Walimex 85 mm / F 1,4 IF

This is an exceptionally high quality lens that you would expect to pay far more for from another manufacturer. Given the heaviness of this lens and its very sensitive manual adjustment, a tripod is necessary for stability. I would still favour it over...

Tamron 18

Used sensibly this is a good lens and a pleasure to use. We set the Nikon D300 to aperture priority at f8 to keep the lens near its sweet spot. That meant we had to crank up the ISO to 1250 to keep the shutter speed high. We would never use this lens...

Walimex pro 85mm f1.5 VCSC

I have put this lens on a Fujifilm X-M1 which makes the unit very front heavy as this is quite a weighty lens (but not as heavy as some other fast 85mm primes). The additional adaptor included adds to its bulk but this does not bother me. I got to...

Nikon AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED

The inclusion of the SWM focusing system lifts this lens above the ordinary. Combine that with a good overall performance and you get a budget lens worth its money. It's not perfect, but it's the best among its peers.

Canon Lens hood EW 83 E

Despite being $34, I find it to be a good value to help protect an $800 or $1700 lens. I've seen aftermarket hoods that use thin plastic and are flimsy. With OEM Canon, you know you're getting a quality product. I believe in paying more for quality so...

Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM Macro Lens for Nikon DSLR

I bought both the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM Macro Lens for my Nikon D90, and a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. I tried the Tamron first, it was ok... Then I tried the Sigma, and WOW! It was a world of difference. First was just the feel of the lens. The...
