I was disapointed in this as it has quite a hefty colourcast which can be removed but there are others that do not have the cast.

This is effectively nothing more than a deep read filter. It passes far too much of the visible spectrum to be used for infrared photography. If you want a cheap alternative to the Hoya infrared filter then try the Top! or Massa brands.

Item gave a shadowy X-shape across the image at the heaviest density. For me it was a problem, for others it might not be. However, the seller XCSOURCE dealt with the issue very quickly and fairly, so kudos and thanks to them.

Very disappointed: cheap,plastic feel and mediocre stereo images: I honestly would not recommend this to anyone: grossly overpriced. Much better to simply use a cha-cha technique with a single camera rather than this product.
