Canon 2044B002

You can use this from a few meters away to get macro type shots of insects and such. Not quite as good but it's an added perk I didn't expect.

Awesome lens for the money. If you're new to photography or don't have a huge budget this is a great zoom lens.

It's not an L but for this price range you can't go wrong.

Works Great

We've had this for over two years, still use it a couple of times a month. No issues.

Crystal clear, no issues in storage, easy to go from one to the other.

None I can think of.

Fantastic Zoom Lens

I have a Canon Rebel EOS XTi Digital camera and I've been using a 28 - 90 lens that came with my wife's Canon 35mm film camera. This lens is great not only because of the telephoto capacity but the IS makes it even easier to take shots on the fly...

Fantastic Deal

I own a 9 year old D SLR. I treated myself to a new one and upgraded my telephoto lens. This lens is physically smaller in mm diameter than my 135 lens. It is the same length and only 1/2 oz heaver. Great lens. It has stability control. Price /...

Very nice lens!

I ordered this lens for my Canon Rebel T3 after waiting a long time for the price to get in my range. It's a fine lens for sure! Yeah I know it has a plastic ring, but hey- I cannot afford to buy the other brands that use a metal ring. Why Canon...

So far the only con and it's not that big a deal unless your really using your camera professionally is the base ring is plastic and why Canon chose to cheap out on that- I don't understand...

Great combo to have with my Canon Rebel T3, crisp and sharp photos. Easy to use and well worth the money.

this with the 50mm f/1.8 you dont really need any more lenses to take gorgeous pictures. they are both realtivly inexpensive, and they are super fast. You will love the images that come out of this lens.

not a one.

Love this lens

Just picked this up a few weeks ago along with my new external flash. Zooms far and taken about a 1000 pictures so far with it. Holding up so far so I can't complain about anything just yet!

Cheap (compared to those other lenses), IS, zoom is pretty darn far.

None so far

Takes Very Good Photos

I compared this to a 80-300 canon without stabilization and it makes a big difference on a telephoto for handheld shots. The stabilization works great. Would want a telephoto with out it

Although I've had this lens for about 7 months I haven't used it very often so can't speak to it's durability but every time I have used it I was extremely pleased with the results. Reasonably fast for a telephoto and great pictures.

I compulsive look for flaws in anything I purchase. With this lens the only negative I can find is that the mount is not metal. With occasional use I doubt that this will make a difference. Maybe just as durable
