great lens

this is a great lens, creates a really definable atmosphere in all of the photos you take, great for profile pictures, creates a tangible depth in the background.

The Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III Autofocus Lens is the lightest 4x telephoto zoom lens in its class. Ideal for sports, portraiture, animals, etc. The telephoto effect can make the picture look compressed or have excellent background blur. At the 300mm focal length, you can fill the frame with a postcard from 4.9' away. The most affordable of Canons long telephoto zooms, it shares the same 13-element optical system as the 75-300mm USM lens, but uses a DC motor for autofocus.
