renowned for quality and build. Ingress resistant and strong able to withstand impact. Glass impeccable.

very expensive. limited to L series lenses. alternatives are becoming more available at less cost.

I'm using it with my EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS MK II. The picture quality is still very good. You can't tell the difference compared to the EF 100-400mm L IS.

Nothing really, just the shade of Grey is slightly darker than the L series lens. That's me being picky.

Used as an alternative to upgrading my camera, to get better photios of distant object, thereby saving hunderds of pounds.

Heavier than I expected. With my main lens, Cannon 100/400 mm the auto focus is not available when using the extender. I was not aware of this prior to purchase.
