I purchased this for my Sony HDR-HC1 HD Camcorder. This lens is actually made of two lenses. The first one attaches to the camera for Macro and the second lens work with (attaches to) the first lens to provide the wide angle function. Construction...

Caution-this is not a Sony product from Blue Nook. It is aftermarket with prominent fish eye distortion. I am returning it and hopefully they will correct their listing.
