There's not much more to say that the test results don't already show: very good performance, even when used wide open, and excellent performance when stopped down just a little.

A fast standard prime lens for general photography with Fujifilm's new X-Pro 1.

With JPEG files from the X-Pro 1 camera, the review lens produced the highest resolution figures of the three XF lenses we tested. Resolution in our Imatest testing exceeded expectations between f/2.8 and f/5.6, with f/8 just falling short of the f/2.8...

This is a must have lens, on the X pro 1. It's very sharp wide open, and good from center to corners at F2,8 and smaller aperture. The bokey is very nice.

Very good IQ : one of the best for a 35 1;4 mm on an APS camera
