Cheap and effective, a combo sought by most amateurs!

These filters allow you to turn any 52 mm lens into an extremely versatile macro lens! For example, take the Canon 50mm 1.8, an extremely good lens for its price, throw on one of these close up filters (or all three!), and you now have a macro lens...

It works

As expected (since it's Hoya), these work well. I'm using them with the Panasonic G1 14-45mm kit lens. You can even combine 2 or 3 of the filters together to get "more close up".
