PC-E Nikkor 24mm f/3.5D ED; A Pro Perspective Control Lens

Created chiefly for the high-end Nikon D300 and D3, the new 24mm PC (Perspective Control) lens from Nikon can also be used on other Nikon D-SLR cameras, such as the relatively new D60 on which I tested it, albeit with some loss of full automation and...

Wonderful, sharp, sharp, sharp!

This is a specialty lens for architect and such they say. BUT this is such a fun to use in the city-scape as well. Control the perspective, show it as if it were miniature. Very sharp and great 24mm wide lens, too.

Amazing

The lens is great. Sharp, easy to use and durable. The only problem with it, is the rise and fall when you are shooting vertical. It is very hard to lock the lens into place if you have big fingers. Although it is a pain, it is still a fantastic lens.

As Advertised

We are using this lens on a D3, and it works as advertised. We are replacing a 28pc 3.5 that barely worked on a digital camera (chromatic abberations/ poor color/light at night). We have used this lens for day and night shots where there isn't enough...

Great Lens

Very sharp lens, corner to corner. I am just getting use to PC-E lenses, so there is a learning curve. I have been able to use the lens in both landscape and architecture and the shift function has been very useful. I am also still on a learning curve...

Landscaping with the Nikon 24mm PC-E

Wonderful lens, takes some time getting used to the workings of the lens. Used mine on a D200 so it was entirely manual use. Took it with me to Yosemite and it did great. Really fun to use this lens.
