Great value for money

I bought this lens as a cheap prime for my D800. It yields very good sharpness from edge to centre as long as you step down to f8\/f11. I have used it for mainly landscape shots (tripod)and it has proved to be great value for money. Light and...

One of the sharpest lenses i used.

I definitely recommend the 35 F2, a perfect lens to have on all the time, very sharp, lightweight, very impressed with the results.

Great general lens for D700

Originally got my D700 with a 50mm 1.4G lens, but after a few months thought it\'s a bit narrow for general everyday use, so got the 35mm 2D to use as my main lens. I really like the compact size, and especially the fact that it has a proper aperture...

A little gem!

A discrete standard lens on DX. Great walkabout for street photography. Really useful for gig photography if you\'re close enough because of its wide aperture. Brilliant for people, natural, sharp and doesn\'t intimidate - non of that "that guy with...

Great \'standard\' lens!

Ticks all the boxes that a quality 35 or 52 (depending on FX or DX sensor) lens should. Pleasure to use and great results.

Top lens for D700

This lens rarely comes off my D700. It\'s pin-sharp and can even outshine the 24-70mm zoom on occasions. At f\/2 it can be a bit soggy in the corners, but for the price, it delivers. Just because it is \'old\' does not mean it is not suitable for...

Helpful little chap

I mainly use this lens for photographing parties (which is a growing side to my business). Its great as its \'non-threatening\' in size and allows you to photograph small groups of people when you\'re tightly packed into a venue. Great bit of kit!

Perfect for travelling light

This 35mm focal length lens (along with the 50mm and 105mm) is one of the all time classic 'fixed focal' length or 'prime' lenses. When used on a full frame FX digital or a 35mm film camera it provides a moderately wide angle-of-view of about 63...
