I found the lens I ordered was not described accurately. Repeated calls to 47th provided more bum dope. I returned the lens to them AT MY EXPENSE (no return postage paid return sticker was provided) and still got hit with a $15 restockage charge.

Considering the Sigma 600mm mirror will run you over 4 times the price of this lens, its not a bad deal. I could not coax sharp images out of it though, but considering that it is a long lens at f8, that would be challenging with any long lens without...

I have used it outdoors and got great shots. Well worth the $99.

For the sheer focal length the price is worth paying - just be prepared to take a big heavy tripod and spend a lot of post processing to get the right pictures. Lens quality is fine.
