The 645N is about the size and weight of a Nikon F4, which is pretty good considering that it produces a 6x4.5cm image (actually 41.5x56mm versus a Nikon's 24x36mm frame). The standard lens is a 75/2.8. Pentax cheaps out and doesn't give you a lens...

Pentax SMCP 67 45mm f/4

 

A very good lens, easily compares to some of the best ultrwides I've used for 35mm (and I've probably tried the best).

Relatively light & compact ; Sharp ; Low distortion ; Above average flare resistance ; Feels more like a 20 or 21mm than the theoretical 24mm equivalent compared to 35mm (an advantage to me!)

Pentax 645NII

 

I have prevoiusly owned the Pentax 645N and it also is a fine camera. The thing a like most about the Pentax 645n II is the ease of operation of the mirrior lock-up. It is very user friendly. I love the light meter, the qucik auto focus and auto film...

The build qulity, the lens quality, outstanding light meter, every easy to operate. The price is very good.

The flash sinc apeed, and the top sutter speed is a little slow.
