Tested: Pentax 50-200mm f/4-5.6 DA WR

Why did I wait so long?

This was exactly the lens I have been needing. I only wish I had purchased it sooner. Didn't order in time for graduation pictures, but I did for trip to Europe.

Easily Interchangeable ; Lightweight

Pentax 50-135mm f/2.8 ED AL IF SDM SMC DA* review by 3systemuser

the AF of this lens is on a bit slow side but its very accurate and unlike the DA*16-50f2.8 , it does not share the annoyingSDM failure issue.

sharp as an expensive prime, mine has good distortion control , small and sealed

flare resistance could be a bit better

Worth The Risk

Worth The Risk

There is not much I can add to the already posted reviews. This is an amazing lens, and I absolutely love it. The reported SDM issues across the * line of lenses worried me at first, but I couldn't resist the IQ. I bought one, and I can't get it off...

Love It!

I'm by no means an expert. I just picked up the photography bug a few months ago after putting it down for 10 years. The whole digital thing is so cool. I'm really loving this lens. In addition to it being quiet, it takes awesome photos. I'm seriously...

A Pixie Dust Masterpiece

This is one of those lenses that ruin it for all others. Once you experience it, you are stuck for the rest of your life trying to find other lenses with the same magic this one produces. I can always pick the images created by this lens out of a group...

Pentax 50mm f/1.4 SMC P-FA review by Tord

This is quite like the Pentax 50 I had 40 years ago, but it is optimized for a modern camera, and has autofocus, and an aperature ring, so you can set the aperature manually, if you want (excellent for 'dumb' extension tubes).

Fast, cheap, and compact

Very tiny focus ring
