Good lens for the budget

Good lens for the budget

I ordered this from another store but still the same lens. Its good if you dont want to spend too much money on a telephoto lens, the colors are good but not good enough to be considered pro looking. good for new photographers that are learning. I use...

Don't buy this lens for more that $125

The only reason I bought this lens was that it was $60 at a Ritz Clearance sale. For that price this lens is amazing. For more than that...meh. Chromatic aberration is bad. It's not terribly sharp (I.e. stop down to f8 for your sharpest pics) and the...

review of a 70-300 lens

review of a 70-300 lens

The lens arrived in good condition and works fine. It might be a little heavier than the other one I had (lost) but it should not pose any problem. The lens cover was shipped separately and was received in good condition.

Beautiful lens

I didnt buy the lens here but it is so excellent expecially indoors with a flash and outdoors on a sunny day. It does give a little problem focusing when it gets dark but I am very happy with it. The macro option does a super excellent job. I would...

Good for the money.

This lens is OK for the money (under $80.00) but is nothing to get excited about. Build quality is below average, feels cheap. Auto focus on a Sony A200 is hit or miss in telephoto. The lens is heavy. With all that said it is a good first lens for...

Good inexpensive used Zoom Lens

Good inexpensive used Zoom Lens

I bought this lense used at a very good price for my Nikon D60. I have only taken a few test pictures with it and I think they would have been better if I knew how to operate the lens better. I expected to receive documentation with the lens and the...

wonder-lens

This lens is great! I walked into my local RITZ and compared it to the Nikon 70-300 (non-VR), side by side mounting each to my D200 and snapping away right from the lens counter. I could tell I thought it would focus closer in the store, so I bought...

Good lens for the price.

I have taken around 50 or so photos with this lens and I think you get what you pay for. The photo quality is clear and good quality. Great for someone looking a starter telephoto lens or do not have a abundance of money to spend.

Good peformance for the price

If you really don't need an expensive fast f2.8 300mm lens, then this is a good alternative. Most uses will be in daylight so the f5.6 should'nt be a problem. And I rarely have the need for a 300mm lens, so why pay the big money for it. It's not super...

Product Specifications

This well-designed telephoto zoom effectively covers the most frequently used ranges. It's light (only 12 oz.) and short (3.4 inches) with a filter diameter of 55mm, making it a true ultra-compact zoom. Best of all, it delivers exceptional performance in situations demanding ease of maneuverability. Without eliminating distance and depth-of-field markings, it uses a two-ring rotary zoom/focus system ideal for autofocus cameras, with the zoom and focus rings widened for improved operation. The ZEN finish helps prevent reflections and is designed to withstand the demands of tough environments. PRODUCT FEATURES: Two-ring rotary zoom/focus system.
