Sigma 1.4x APO EXTENDER EX DG f/NIKON AF

This TC makes my sigma 70-200mm f2.8 into a 98-280mm f4 lens. Image quality for all focual lengh and f-stop shows little degradation with the TC. This lens and TC combination basically cover the focal length from 70mm to 280mm without much loss in...

Sigma 1.4x APO EXTENDER EX DG f/NIKON AF

I bought the sigma 1.4x teleconverter for my sigma 100-300 f/4 lens, which becomes 140-420 f/5.6 now, used on Nikon D200, the auto focusing works as fast as the original lens and the image sharpness is only about 5% loss. It's also light weight and...

Excellent Teleconverter

I most often use this teleconverter with a Sigma 150mm macro and a D700. That is not to say I always use the 1.4x with the 150mm, but when I do I get very good results. As a 210mm telephoto or as a macro the images are sharp with good contrast. DOF...

Solid lens, a bit soft

I had this lens for a while, using it as my standard lens on my 30D. I wasn't satisfied with the sharpness of it, and found I didn't use the 40mm end much at all, so I traded it in for the Sigma 20mm f1.8, which I highly recommend.

Very solid build quality ; Good contrast ; Decent flare resistance

Somewhat soft, overall ; Some chromatic abberation
