The Sigma 12-24mm HSM II is the successor to the older 12-24mm super wide-angle zoom, an area of the market that Sigma has a long history in, releasing its first 21-35mm super wide-angle zoom way back in 1979.

A superb ultra wide angle lens

The great thing about this lens is that you can get incredibly close to something, like a bridge, and get a wonderful shot. It has such a wide angle that sometimes you have to check to make sure your feet are out the way.
