Using the 70-300 and 28-135 I often had to compromise on the surroundings. It\'s great to have a lens that offers both depth of field and inclusion of the awesome scenery. This was my "present to myself" upon retirement. I just hate I waited so long.

It is great for night shots and cityscapes, also indoors gives you a realy great picture sharpeness, great absortion of the light and real and vivid colors also, great for long expoture pics!!! I love it!
